This is an interesting articulation of counterfeiting as a method of warfare.
In the case of Zimbabwe, I lived in South Africa at the time of the land reforms and I think the author over simplifies the situation enormously. Many people – both black and white – fled the Zimbabwe due to violent attacks of the “reformers”, who were little more than thugs. I actually think that the “land reforms” were a covert security operation play. They had some characteristics of “color revolution”. So, to me, perhaps two or more covert security forces playing their war out. Zimbabwe is rich in resources and water.
