I am staying with my parents and my father – addicted to watching rugby despite all I tell him it is bread and circuses – is watching an England vs. Argentina match…. the lead up to the game featured the hymn version of that strange “And did those feet in ancient time” William Blake poem… and today is the 99th anniversary of the 1918 German leaders signing the armistice ending World War I. A conincidence? I think not!
