Pepe Escobar on geopolitics. Though just because Tillerson says that there is a US-India-Pacific “pivot” does not necessarily make it true. Looks like a convenient way of sidestepping the “heartland” issue (Russia-China) and a last-ditch attempt to revive US “sea power” in the Pacific (with naval fleet ready for the scrap heap…).
