For those who posted the BWV 29 sinfonia played by Diane Bish, I’m not a big fan of her, though certainly of the sinfonia. Unfortunately, there was a great performance of the cantata including the opening sinfonia with orchestra and organ obbligato on you tube that was taken down. But if you like that sort of thing, check out Geist und Seele wird verwirret, BWV 35. There are two sinfonias in this cantata. The organ obbligato is played on what’s called a portatif, which is a small baroque era portable organ often used for such occasions.
