Yes, it’s true, I can confirm this. Maternity benefits are surprisingly large in Russia. E.g. third baby gives you a free property + earmarked money. The money comes to you automatically, if you want a property, you need apply for it (owning a property is not mandatory in Russia, not even if you have 3 kids). 🙂
