The following quote is from a recent piece entitled “Planet of the Censoring Humans” by Matt Taibbi (yes, I know … not always readable).
“On May 13, human rights activist Jennifer Zeng noted that YouTube was automatically deleting Chinese-language references to terms insulting to the Chinese government, like gongfei, or ‘communist bandit.’ ”
Upon reading this it occurred to me that in light of recent events (too numerous to mention) that a similar, more universal term applicable to any human being regardless of their political, philosophical, or religious ideology might be necessary. Staying with the Chinese (as best as my Google language skills can muster) I suggest Linghunfei. This should roughly translate as “soul / spirit bandit”.
An example of its use in a sentence … Baal Gates (a.k.a. Billious Hates) is a Linghunfei.
