Hello again from South Africa! Sorry I’ve been MIA.
We have virtually become a totalitarian state under this lockdown.
No parliamentary oversight.
Two days ago our Supreme Leader addressed us sand said that this lockdown is so successful and necessary that we must be prepared for it to last months or “years”.
Hmmmm. Anything fishy here?
Tobacco is still banned spawning a thriving black market.
Alcohol has just been allowed under strict regulations.
The Supreme leader said that hair salons might soon be opened because it’s an industry owned and operated by women. (I guess male hairdressers will be allowed to work).
South Africa was already in recession before this; one can only imagine the effects now.
But the Leader has a solution; the virtually bankrupt state will get more involved in the economy.
Brilliant.
Anyway. I’m venting a bit.
At least my wife and I live on my Canadian pension. Others aren’t so lucky.
The overt power plays going on around the world are deeply disturbing to this grumpy old man!

I’m collecting material, have made an extremely interesting contact and will post more as soon as I can.
Sadly, while I’d love to become a full member, our budget gets extremely tight some months.
Our 16 furry babies need food etc and we try to help our local SPCA as much as possible. Our lives are very different than what most North Americans consider normal!!

How easy was it to be a nazi in the post war years. Very sad.
