Palantir IPO coming soon! Palantir “was” a military intelligence tracking, tracing, and data crunching company. From my experience being SOF I did get to work with it some and was very impressed with it’s accuracy and power. They offer a suite of programs that can be tailored to whatever you want. Think ICE, DHS, and other agencies besides the DOD using it.
This article is a throw away article, but it shows that this type of technology is working its way into the civilian sector. I understand that what they will be deploying here domestically is not what we used overseas, but it still grabs my attention. Definitely worth digging into.
Additionally they want to IPO, sending a message that they will be growing and taking part in enabling our government to be more involved in our personal lives. Palantir’s CEO seems to be a level headed guy that doesn’t want to infringe on American rights and only wants to help, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
