    *Sorry, technical issue repost*
    Understanding the “assumption of powers”, or what so many refer to as “police powers”, and the lack of regulation to these “assumed powers” is ever so important for my little noggin to comprehend. I certainly need to reread the Federalist Papers again, as it’s depth is profound, but one main thing that I take away from the Federalist Papers is that our States in times of “crisis”, seemingly, have WAY TOO MUCH ILL-DEFINED POWER. This power, at times, is certainly a good thing, but there are other times when this “presumption of powers” hinges on sheer authoritarianism.
