The good news, pushback in Italy. To date almost 700,000 signatures in an online petition addressed to the President, Prime Minister and MPs against the proposal to extend the “state of emergency” for the non-existent “pandemic”. The “emergency” – – itself of dubious legality – besides justifying a sort of rule by decree, also streamlines certain procurement procedures, opening the floodgates to corruption. We’ll see what happens…
