This is how the controlled opposition in canadian media promotes multiculturalism. This same outlet has decried high immigration numbers for years. In this article, the author demonstrates how racism is not as rampant as the liberals would like us to believe. That’s at the heart of what he is reporting on, with examples, and I tend to agree. What he doesn’t comment on is the fact that of all the ethnicities he encountered, there was no interactions among the groups. Each was enjoying their day as a separate group. That’s not multiculturalism in my opinion, that’s just a bunch of people out enjoying nature. These groups have no interest in one another and the same can be said for the overall population at large especially in the cities. These ethnicities (not of eurpean descent) are not integrating into Canadian society, they’re just existing side by side with one another (as separate ethnic groups) not with one another as one big happy multicultural family. How can there be true multiculturalism if different ethnicities don’t “mix and mingle”? Answer, there can’t be. We are all tribal by nature and that’s that. Multiculturalism is nothing more than another (sinister?) agenda. Anyways, on with the show.
