I submit that there have been nanobots around for a far longer time than we may normally believe; indeed, I also submit that these may have been created by a previous civilization, and that some of them are known to us now as “phages”.
I’ve always considered colds and flus as a yearly update for my epigenome. There are so many things and processes we clearly don’t understand and never even considered. I don’t want to mess with that for my future children. If I’ve been unhealthy that year and it becomes uncomfortable, so be it. I know it’s a harsh reality but we are not Gods.
