I’ve smoked for over 40 years. My only issue is the current cost due to the excise tax not the cost of the product. Current tax per pack of 20 is about $1.00 federal and $1.21 state plus $.0525 sales tax based on total cost per package. There is tax on the excise taxes, how clever. Quit? Never. As an addict I can justify my habit.
