Spoke with a tenant yesterday who lives here in south Texas. He drives diesel tankers to and from Mexico. I asked how his new job was going (he used to work in the oil fields). Work is slow until middle of April because the trucks aren’t allowed to cross the border right now. He’s still recovering a 40 hour work week salary so he’s okay. Ummm. Supply chain interrupted for why? Gasoline and diesel prices went up? Plenty of supply.

  Odd that the trucks aren’t allowed to cross the border when it appears that it’s wide open for people.
