Strange. I went to Walmart today (I know and I agree!) and noticed the signs about wearing mask had been taken down. I asked The ever friendly and knowledgeable greeter if masks were required to enter. She informed me it was optional. So I took off my three masks and entered. 💃

      The Walmart here in south Texas will probably go with the corporate policy and ignore state law. Our governor allowed them the option. The locals here are pretty scared and refuse NOT to wear a mask, even when walking outside. Sadly totally convinced by the mass main media on TV.

      The state has not lifted the mask mandate , therefore my surprise. I am wondering if their corporate policy has changed? Everyone here wear mask. Friends and family still love me ( so they say) but don’t want to be too close to me. This too shall pass.

      Maybe the change is preparing customers for “ no shot no service”.

      I’m not far from Billy Bob (whoops, added tooo many o”s for a second) and our grocery (H-E-B) decided to go full fascist and keep the mask despite the state release. I went in yesterday and some idiot tried to tell me that a mask was required and I told her I hadn’t worn one for the last year and charged right in. There were about 5 other people in the store like me and we all smiled at each other and nodded approvingly.

      Hope you are wrong about the “no shot, no service”!
      Of course if it is at Walmart it would be no big lost for either of us 🙂

      Sometimes I am a “Billy Boob” when I fail to stand my ground. Getting better at it. HEB tried that on me too Wednesday but didn’t get away with it.
