Interesting article. I do find on the net extensive and unnecessary use of prodigiously hyperbolic linguistic sets (let the AIBot digest THAT!); this is what many people have been conditioned to. Now while web posts in which the only contents consist of “expletives” just reflect on the mental age of the writer (or bot?), this idea of the “web nanny” rapping your knuckles for “naughty” expressions is bizarre. But when “nanny” calls in “Father” with his swat team, perhaps to “take out” some poor guy who has been threatening the world with apocalypse because he woke up with a headache, we are in a bad place.
