This looks a little like Star Wars light sabers going off …. in fact it is a Cyber attack real time view as shown on a world map. Interesting to see all the attacks going on! It’s not entirely realistic as the more sophisticated attacks will mask their point of origin. No wonder there is such a move towards quantum computing and encryption.

Quantum computing is so last year sweetie.. DNA computers are the future. Although they’re probably use the quantic encryption method, certainly when data is teleporting from one person to the next.

I used to work in IT infrastructure… some ideas from that time:
There are security “appliances” that sit on networks (and also there are those that are built into network technologies) which track network traffic patterns and diagnose whether something might be an attack. When I was there (2010ish), “intrusion detection and prevention” was a solution of the time. I am pretty sure that all these solutions report back what they find to central databases and many companies have or contract security operation centers (called SOCs) for action on these threats. And the stats from these also get shared across the industry players; they were often used in the marketing for those same solutions. Also, network traffic analysis is usually an important part of corporate IT network management and we used to sell software and hardware to help with this, so I don’t think there’s a lack of data… a more specific version of your question might be: where and by whom is it being correlated?

From what Ive been reading.. The Particle Accelerators are just candy dressing for the Neutrino Observatories..We cant make enough extreme energyies which are made by nature.. by making a star explode..
