An interesting find of some correspondence of Alan Turing in an old filing cabinet.

Perhaps more interesting is the slant of The Gaurdian newspaper’s article covering it. Of all the items they highlight, they select Turing’s dislike for “America”.
Are they “messaging” something for the British Labor Party (for which they are often a mouthpiece)… or does this run deeper and is the story on behalf of the secret service or the monarchy?
It’s hard to believe that, as it should be, an insti tutions finds real letters (possible) and then publishes them for the benefit of researchers; with the excuse of “privacy”, i.e. checking for the mention of currently living persons (they would have had to be rather young in 1954…)
