Several weeks ago we had Macron visiting France’s African colonies, then later he made some strange statements about Africa and Europe “sharing a common destiny”. Today I read this story of a vast dam being built in Ethiopia by an Italian company….. are we seeing a “Scramble for Africa 2.0”?

Common destiny viewed by Macron: Rothschild control of both sides of the Med???
The Spice must flow… You see.. when people realise that they cant drink oil, priorities will be shaken to the core. Look at what Nestle is doing around the world.
Egypt is a gift of the Nile, which originates in Ethiopia.
Mesopotamia is the land of the two rivers, Tigris, & Euphrates which originate in Kurdistan (present-day eastern Turkey).
Future wars could be fought over water resources.
Even with lots of water, Egypt has very little arable land (around the Nile river and its delta).
Iraq’s arable land between the rivers is so salt-encrusted that only tomatoes can grow. The only fertile lands in Iraq border on Iran and Turkey, but the water that flows into Iraq is controlled by Turkey in the North, and Iran in the West (Iran’s western mountain chain of Zagros has many peaks over 4000 meters, which stores a lot of snow, melting into rivers flowing into Iraq).
Syria, Iraq, and Egypt will be hardest hit by drought and global warming, as they rely on natural water sources. The sheikhdoms can desalinate water, as long as they have the money to spend.
Water management is another problem in the mideast (except Israel): 90% of water is wasted in agriculture. Use of drip irrigation and similar techniques in the long term can make a lot more water available for industry and people.
