At this moment, the Italian president is trying to delay the installation of the new government over the proposal of former minister Paolo Savona as Economy Minister. Savona’s “sin” in the eyes of the Eurocrats has been to candidly – and pragmatically – announce the need for the country to have a “Plan B” to return to it’s national currency in case it becomes impossible, for whatever reason, to remain in the German-controlled euro.
