Federal Reserve defaults on Myanmar Gold. Once again, we are seeing a country (Myanmar) request their gold back from the US, with the US responding with sanctions and saying “no, we won’t give you your gold.” Yet another dangerous precedent for others who may be storing gold at the Fed or in the US.
