Research interlude. Book on the roots of “Yankee” power in post-war Japan. I haven’t read it and don’t know if it references the gold issue. The same publisher issued the important book by Alvarez on espionage and the Vatican.

This is a brilliant catch (as they say). Also, very grateful for your observations. I would have missed the mention regarding Antartica and ‘world government’ otherwise. I am most intrigued by the globe in the painting. I would suspect Sacchi was working with an actual globe in mind or he was encoding that information as well for the wise viewer…[Read more]
