I paid $10 but only after a few months of searching on the various platforms (Abebooks, Alibris, BookDepository etc. – I avoid AMZ).

I’ve just got a copy of “The Crystal Sun, Rediscovering a Lost Technology in the Ancient World”, Robert Temple, Arrow Books 2000. 642 pages on ancient Greece and Egypt.

Surely it’s more a question of electrical frequencies than just physical digging, travelling etc.: any weather front reduces immeasurably more energy than “ordinary” human activities. While cern-related doings may be another matter.
