Merkel’s anger over announced increased US sanctions against Russia is just hypocrisy, since these ONLY involve the North Stream project where there is heavy German involvement in the contracting. However, these protests do not involve previous sanctions imposed to prop up the Nazi coup government in Kiev. Sanctions which the Brussels/Berlin Reich continues to support, and which penalise, among other things, the Italian food, wine and fashion industry.

Sanctions are totally ineffective. I just bought a delicious Belarusian Mozzarella cheese two days ago 🙂 LOL
If I remember it correct, food import to Russia is penalised by Russian counter sanctions. Russian farmers are now quite happy campers, I can tell you that. The agricultural economy is booming in Russia. Western sanctions only include banking sector and some individuals and now of course they are coming after Russian energy sector.
As they say here, by accepting the Obama-Merkel sanctions Italy and other “allies” have “cut off their nose despite their face”. There is also a more vulgar version of this proverb 🙂
These sanctions has mad a huge damage specially for Finnish dairy producers as they used to export a lot of their products to Russia. Its crazy that EU elite want to shoot their own citizen in the foot. It´s sickening.
