News from Rome-Byzantium. An hour ago the Italian president, going beyond his constitutional prerogatives, has refused to enact the appointment of the new government. Under the Italian constitution, the president appoints the prime minister who, in turn, chooses the ministers. This follows a week of “unofficial” obstruction, to all intents and purposes on behalf of the Berlin Brussels oligarchs. Some more intelligent critics of the parties that won the March elections are now worried that this behavious will be a boomerang if new elections are called, not only confirming the winners, who already have over 50%, but considerably increase this.
