    As the more self-aware parts of Europe slowly pull their feet (and above all their mind) out of the sticky NATO tar-pit, the Russophobe-let’s-increase-defence-spending oligarchs are having to make do with Balkan and other “Eastern” countries where a fistfull of dollars can still buy whole governments, countries or territories.

      Those poor people in Albania can rest easy now that there is a new air force base to protect them from those “aggressive” Ruskies.
