… if true then missile installations could also now be any dock where they sit after being offloaded, or the trailer of a semi, or any flatcar / flatwagon, or the storage lots of large home improvement / hardware stores, or …
… this also means that cargo ships now become targeted.
If the idea is to launch long-range missiles from merchant vessels, this would potentially put in harm’s way every container ship in the world that was carrying a container loaded at a Chinese port. Would that be compatible with the laws of war?
… what? there are laws of war? Shocked, shocked I tell you! 🙂
I really have a hard time believing our military didn’t know they were working on this “strategy”.
According to Bill Gertz, “the Russian Club-K cruise missile also uses a launcher disguised as a shipping container. Israel also is working on a container-launched missile called the Lora.” Presumably, The United States Corporation also has one, if it wants one.
