Back to the Futre – Geopolitical Time Warp again. As Berlin soldiers march to the tune “Prussia’s Glory”, now Turkey is intervening in what was one of its provinces until 1911, when the Italians took it over. And of course it was the Ottoman government which, spurred by the Germans, “invented” the jihad as a policy tool, first applying it in Libya in a bid to restore the Sultan’s rule.
