Wonder what’s on his “island?”
Debt and conservation seem like strange bedfellows. I can see where the money is spent; but I can’t see how it is re-paid (other than by rolling the bond over) at maturity. And the annual yield: how does that work? Obviously, if the number of animals increase, they’re not going to dehorn or slaughter the animals for cash; so……? Sales to zoos? Safari tourism? $50m? Over what term? Not getting it.
