Brexit and Ireland. Journalist Tony Gosling (no friend of the “Conservatives” or the Unionists) points out the the famous Good Friday Agreement did not call for the “abolition of borders” as the EU bureaucrats and others seem to believe but simply the abolition of the British military checkpoints. He comments that the free circulation of PEOPLE between North and South is regulated by a 1920s bilateral agreement between the Republic and the UK. And that the problem of EU neoliberal ideology is to consider people at the same level as “goods and services”.
