Ennio Morricone, the master of Affektlehre, has passed into the great beyond.
It’s EXTREMELY difficult not to feel a PROFOUND sense of loss when listening to this .. We seem to be losing SO damn much at present .. it HURTS .. literally .. Sigh!! .. Thanks for posting Dana ..

I don’t know, it seems a good time to leave especially when you are old.
Sad to learn that beloved Maestro Ennio Morricone has left the podium. One of my often played recordings is ‘Yo-Yo Ma plays Ennio Morricone’ … and the melancholy theme music from brilliantly scored ‘Cinema Paradiso’ pulls the heartstrings like no other. Thank you for the beauty Maestro Morricone.
