I’ve just got a copy of “The Crystal Sun, Rediscovering a Lost Technology in the Ancient World”, Robert Temple, Arrow Books 2000. 642 pages on ancient Greece and Egypt.

  wow on amazon mass copies are USD800++ however used one’s are less than USD20.

    I paid $10 but only after a few months of searching on the various platforms (Abebooks, Alibris, BookDepository etc. – I avoid AMZ).
