One can’t help thinking that when somebody whispered into the ears of “protesters” to knock down that Confederate general, they were very well aware of his Illuminati ideology, and could be a) hostile to it or b) not hostile but signalling a new phase….

A quick search indicates that the statue removals did not include any that would be construed religious (god or goddess). There was one oddity – an elk (a 120 year old statue in Oregon). Elk, among other meanings, have been associated with Freedom.

The ‘oddity’ here is ‘Why did Obama not do anything’ about having Pike’s, and other Confederate-era statues removed during his 8-yr reign?

Yes and No. You are half-way there, and on the right track. Things were changing, and the country was neck-deep in the CANCEL CULTURE phase. As Dana wrote it is, ….“b) not hostile but signalling a new phase….”
