Zero-Misleading-Hedge. A lot of members here follow ZeroHedge but in the case of this article on Italy the conclusions about the “5Star Movement” (M5S) are misleading. Former comedian Grillo and many (though not all) of the leading MPs have come out IN FAVOUR of staying in the euro currency. As for the EU itself, just about everybody, including Prime Minister Gentiloni, have said that it requires extensive reform or words to that effect. Only a couple of smaller formations, the Northern League and Fratelli d’Italia (LN and FDL on the opinion poll chart) have had the courage to discuss monetary reform. True, M5S is currently seen as being “anti-system”. But as for their policies, they send out contradictory messages and seem to change their minds from one week to the next. The “anti-system” fame is more “anthropological”, i.e. most of the leading M5S figures have not held significant positions in the old political parties. This may be a good thing, but is it enough to have a “human turnover” in politics, while leaving up policy decisions to a small clique that does not call party conferences (condemned as being part of the “old system”), but depends on approval by the movement’s website members. A website managed by a private company and without any independent oversight. We may soon see the real extent of the M5S leadership ties to the globalist oligarchs…
