‘polls’ have been part of tavistock social conditionning since they found out ‘newspapers’ can deviate elections. 65 percent of the population think that this guy should be president. (therefore you should too…) What they learnt with Pavlov, taught them that people are just animals that can be trained to respond correctly to stimulii. I see…[Read more]

Actually I am not surprised about the African-Germans. Africans served under the Kaiser in WW1 in the German colonies under von Lettow-Vorbeck, and did very well.

Well, speaking of state ceremonial symbolisms, watch Friday’s blog! I admit that like blakecosmos I find this unsettling and somewhat creepy. But I do think something much deeper than merely a return to old military traditions is going on.

Hear hear. I’m getting to the point I don’t like an piano of JS or CPE Bach. You should hear the Goldbergs on the organ.

Musical interlude . . . I came across this lovely performance by Jean Rondeau of Bach’s ‘Goldberg Variations’. Of course Glenn Gould’s piano recording is highly praised, but I prefer the original harpsichord version. Actually, I AM aware of all of this and have been for some time. These types of ceremonials with the Wachbattaillion, fife and drum, the bell tree and so on are common. They were slowly brought back. The only that that as yet has not been brought back is the Stechschritt/Paradeschritt (goosestep), which they did in Ottawa. That was a definite…[Read more]

Some interesting thinking from good old C.G. Jung. And to think that people (especially academics :] consider him an occultist) Just ignore all those Grimoires in his Library folks, he just liked dusty books. (And while you’re at it, please avoid any line of thinking that would lead you to think that good old Carl Gustav was looking directly at…[Read more]

That’s very interesting. Apart from the Stechmarsch aspect, I’ve never seen a military formation marching backwards before. Is that a standard part of the German army’s foot-drill repertoire, I wonder? Did the German army ever retreat to music?!
Goose stepping is very difficult to do – both in terms of the physical effort required and in terms of…[Read more] -

Well, they’ve finally done it. The Paradeschritt is back. And they did it in a very clever fashion: in Ottawa, and their navy. No one complained, so it will come back folks. Clever… march backwards, then forwards using the Paradeschritt, use the NAVY not the army or Luftwaffe, and pipe out “Prussia’s Glory.” Nope. No messages here. Nothing to…[Read more]

Paraffin torches are widely used in Italy for religious processions and medieval enactments, and can be very tricky especially when you are walking (or marching?) while holding them.

I have recently been to Berlin after a gap of a few years and found that the Royal Palace of the Hohenzollerns has almost been rebuilt. It is an exact copy (externally – the inside will be mostly modern) of the damaged palace demolished by the East Germans and replaced with a concrete horror. There are great pictures on this link, and I look…[Read more]

The NYT article on the Stadtschloss professed to be concerned about the “provenance of the African artwork”, but this might just be a way of hinting at something regarding the longstanding German connections with Africa.

This channel is a true goldmine of the very latest manifestations of Prussianism: the Kriegsmarine (oops I meant Deutschemarine) marching with FLAMING TORCHES. See to believe.
-
When we see this kind of symbology, and these semiotics resurface, we are wise if we realize that on the shadow side of the symbol, something is stirring.

This is why I follow the rather “esoteric” topic of State ceremonial as played out in various countries. Though until recently I have rather neglected Germany…

The summer solstice 2019 is over, and days will start to get shorter again. I couldn’t be more happy. 20 hours of daylight is a little bit too much for me. I never got used to it, I prefer dark nights. In winter, days are too short. In summer, days are too long. The downsides of living in the Northern Hemisphere. You can’t win lol.

A thought occurred about those mysterious craft that do things “conventional” aircraft cannot do because the G level is so great that the “pilot would be smeared all over the coc kpit”: why does there have to be a PILOT?
