The west was indoctrinated several hundred years ago from birth on to death to accept the Hegelian dialectic.
One philosopher’s theory does not mean he’s discovered the truth. Those who believe him manifest his thinking into being. Unfortunately his thinking, like a virus, has captured the human imagination. A simple “NO” stops the process. One may be punished, but our history has many who stood up to believers in the dialectic. Reasoning is a powerful weapon, why else would so much effort and resources be expended to dumb down humans?

Hegel’s dialect was certainly not formulated for Left wing politics, and certainly not for social manipulation. It was a simple tool of analysis. It was the young Hegelians who misconstrued Hegel, so much so, that it became anything but Hegel’s philosophy. Hegel’s premise was almost always predicated on Spirit, Thought, and the recognition of oneself in the Other. It was later remade into a purely material, progressive “science” by the young Hegelians, Marx, Gramsci, and the like. I sure wish people would stop throwing Hegel under the bus for that which he did not create, or further, could never have anticipated. Hegel may have had some “statist” leanings, at worst, but the last thing he hoped for was social domination in the sense of Marxian conflict theory.
I always wondered how an idealist, as Hegel is known, could be used as a basis for dialectical materialism, but my knowledge of philosophy is rudimentary. Your comment explains it well.
“Equity” will punish achievement and merit anywhere wokery is allowed in the door. Meanwhile, China is churning out scientists and engineers. Billy Bob and R.L.S. are right: communities need to say no while they still can.
