I keep wondering if this is the reason, or one of the reasons, for Mr. Globaloney being in such a rush to control/surveil the planet, implement Agenda 2030, and get into space.

Yeah, I guess restricting access couldn’t hurt but wouldn’t be a cure-all either. I, too, generally don’t like forums but am feeling like they’re more important than before, at least for me, and the group of thinkers gathered at this site is probably unlike any other.

I think the sanctuary city/county/state idea will inevitably take hold and spread. I hope so. (It would be nice if some locale started standing up for the First Amendment too, but I’ll back a sanctuary for any part of the Bill of Rights.)

A recent support notice mentioned that there has been a death in the family.

I agree about a members-only area. Even as I say that, I feel funny about locking out those who aren’t trolling but perhaps can’t afford a membership at the moment. I realize there may be no practical way around that. Perhaps–if technically feasible–a members-only forum that would allow non-paying members in by invitation only?

If something is constantly in the headlines, someone wants it to be. Draw your own conclusions…
