Climate clergy urges UK to tax food producers for excess CO2 by 2025. “The report makes several recommendations besides levies on food, such as ending buy-one-get-one-free offers for supermarket products that are harmful to the environment…. UKHACC said a future tax on meat and dairy products could easily work.”
So… more small farms out of business, and eventually meat/dairy become a luxury for the 1%. You don’t have to eat meat or dairy to be outraged at these coteries of presumptuous technocratic control freaks, who seem hellbent on bankrupting society and controlling every detail of our lives.
I’ve got an idea: Cut out the middle man and have Neil Ferguson gin up another Mad Cow Disease pandemic. (His modeling was behind that too.) Or an all-farm-animal-borne Covid-20. Then they could eliminate all food animals in one giant purge and “save the world.”

Not sure that’ll be enough to hinder them much, but I agree with your point.
I think we should place a HUGE tax on their computers and those who sit on their ass coming up with these ideas.
Oh and the CO2 expelled By them into the space they occupy.
Where I live we have a number of great sources for excellent grass-fed and organic meat. Now we can’t buy any of it as abattoirs are not accepting meat from small processors, due to — you guessed it — Covid *#(%ing restrictions. Great, so now we ship in factory farmed meat from hundreds of miles away and destroy local producers. Deal with that Climate Fascists, then I may see you as anything more than malign zombies.
