With what I answered yesterday Franck, I come back too you.. where the sailors (on either boat) asleep?… By that I mean.. all of them..
I can’t speak for merchant sailors on the cargo ship. On US Navy they typically run 3-4 shifts on most all posts. Sailors man their station while other members sleep or relax on their off time just like most normal civilian jobs. Certain ships like submarines and aircraft operate as if they are in an actual war. Navy ships always have redundant back ups and they are always on alert status. So that is why everyone is so curious as to why this collision occurred. Very strange circumstances.
And let’s not forget that this was in Japan, home to extremely advanced technology. But there is hardly a peep about “Japanese hackers”…
Very true. Japan keeps their secrets well.
I still think that everyone was asleep and the ship was remote controlled…
