For those who remember how music used to be .. Michael Murphey’s “Wildfire” from his “Blue Sky Night Thunder” album released in the mid 70’s was AMAZING .. Still is .. Every song on it was as great as the previous .. Not often a live recording trumps the studio version but here is one of those occasions ..

    • Freefall, I grew up loving that song yet being haunted by it at the same time. Wonderful memory from what seems like another lifetime. Thanks for posting this!

    • I am SO glad that there’s someone else here who remembers this GRAND album .. It was another lifetime .. a wonderful one .. Enjoy!! And here’s one more just for you …

      • That was glorious.

        • Cool…. Haven’t heard these tunes in decades. Remember the cloths and haircuts.
Deja vu…thanks for the memories. Glad I survived the decandance of those times into these…not sure which one is weirder. Lol

          • LOL .. give me the flared jeans .. platform shoes .. spiral perms .. mullet cuts etc etc .. any day .. I had to laugh at my son .. He watched “Xanadu” one wintery day when NOTHING else was on the idiot box and asked me if it was REALLY like THAT … 🙂

            • I would almost give my right arm to go back to those days (not as a kid) but as me, now. Would love my granddaughters to have a surveillance-free, cellphone-free, geoengineering-free, gmo-free, internet-free life. I could go on….

          • Oh yeah…the CIA’s LSD got me too. That explains a few weird things…

            • I missed that by a hair. A friend went to a free party, a “Happening” at the local avant grade HS in A2 and unknowingly managed to be part of the Electric Koolaid Acid community. Pretty wild; his description followed the book to a Tee. I was a “guide” for friends idiotic enough to drop. My life was already weird enough.
