… Psychophysics (the relation of ANY kind of ontological object to both the effects and affects of the perceptual state(s) of an individual / group) … a very, very important area of study especially during our most recent unpleasantness. To get rolling see the work of Gustav Theodor Fechner. Quite a bit, in fact I think still most, of his work is still untranslated into English from the German.
