Has anyone seen The Gentleman? It’s the movie by Guy Ritchie from early 2020. At first glance, it seems like another well executed gangster movie until you identify the characters identities as elites cadres of various regions of the Englaterra or the Anglosphere. One person said this movie was better seen as a story of countries and their various current predicament but as one of the Character says: ” We are Men of Vice.” or something to that effect anyway. To me, this might indicate that rather than being representative of countries, that they are more representatives of the criminal underground in charge of those countries.
