I found it difficult to find a source on the monetary system in the Byzantine Empire. My luck changed over the weekend when I found what appears to be a lengthy dissertation titled, “The Economic History of Byzantium From the Seventh to the Fifteenth Century” published by Dumbarton Oaks Research and Library Collection Was…[Read more]

Fantastic! Keep a record of your links somewhere Gabe. Just started law studies and I’m deeply interested in these histories. I have no idea where my studies will take me, but your interests seem align with mine and as you post, I’ll collect 🙂

Theology profoundly impacts the way the we think about law. For an explanation of this and more see Dr. Joseph p Farrell’s book God, History, Dialectic, and Opposition. In this book Farrell describes the differences between Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox theology. He explains how st. Augustine’s dialectical formulation of the doctrine of…[Read more]

Here is a tidbit related to the Tower of Babel Book, where Descartes cites Alexandrian mathematicians Pappus and Diopanthus as explaining things best. This by Sir Thomas Heath book contains chapters on them:

Try searching for “Byzantine coins/coinage” too.

I have tried searching for Byzantine coinage, but those books narrowly focus on Byzantine coinage while ignoring everything else.

SOCIAL PHYSICS: Opening a Champagne bottle by moving the cork is troublesome, sometimes messy, and often dangerous. Hold the cork firmly in one place and turn the bottle. It’s leverage.

Finally, after a very long time, I have created an account & can now start posting, yippee. I need to become a full member next.
I have known about Joseph Farrell since 2001, listened over and over again to all of his podcast with George Ann Hughes. I have all his books and have read some books 2 & 3 times. I had the pleasure of meeting Joseph at…[Read more]-

Hi Freefall,
Well, thanks! I am happy to be here.
-
-
Welcome! There are some excellent webinars presented by Dr. JPF as well as some really excellent dialogues in the Member Section, if you ever jump all in, not to mention the member’s vidchat’s.
-
Hi Ronin,
Yes, yesterday I spent a good deal of time looking at the white papers and doing a lot of reading. Have a lot to catch up on.
-
-
Welcome, Joseph. Start looking out for Friday VidChats as no doubt you will be even more amazed at Dr. Farrell’s ability to discuss just about any topic (and if you stay up late enough, laugh at blakecosmos! Now THAT is infectious!)
-
Hi Justawhoaman,
I am looking forward to the Friday VidChats. Happy to be here.

Welcome Joseph 🙂

Hi beatthedrum,
Thanks, I am happy to be here.

Hi Joseph … I expect you’ll be kept busy catching up on the blogs, exploring the member areas, and getting to know other Gizars. It’s a deeply enriching experience. Perhaps we met at Bastrop … several others were there: Jay Trout, Winston1984, EchoOscar, Ramura, and GenericPagan.
-
I am still pissed that I didn’t get to go to Bastrop (I MEAN!) as I had just been in an auto accident. I could make it to San Mateo and not Bastrop??? I still have friends from the California SSP!
-
I was at San Mateo also. Didn’t know any Gizars, but met 2 Austinites I hadn’t known … Waldorf types. We formed our Austin Farrell reading group afterwards and met monthly for a couple of years …

-
Hi Margaret,
Actually I’ve been reading Josephs blogs for a couple of years now, I just never took the time to become a member. I’m happy I now am a member.

“a discredited scientist” eh… discredited by whom and according to what standard? also I dare say that the use of the term… “conspiracy theorist” is in grave danger of being “semantically depleted” or in simpler terms, “overused and thus so generalized as to be meaningless”. I grew up in the state of Washington. The Pacific Northwest is what I call God’s country, extremely beautiful. In a mountain river, you can look near 12 feet down and see the rocks, the water as pure as anything. Mountain meadows and lakes in the middle of a thick pine forest. Sailed the Strait of Juan de Fuca, in the middle of a storm, on a…[Read more]

Archive.org is a great source of primary texts that are anywhere from a few decades old to a few centuries old. This was the source of the criticisms of Mormonism I mentioned in my last post that my mother used to make reprints. I am using it as a source of writings by economists that were contemporary of Adam Smith, but did not get nearly…[Read more]

Out of all of my adventures in free-speech on twitter and 4chan, nothing got me more animosity than stating my admittedly layman opinion that the second law of thermodynamic is invalid because it is describing an impossibility.
I have yet to find someone explaining it without reverting to name-calling and loud noises.
The problem with the second…[Read more]-

In my early 20’s I had one of those ‘spiritual experiences’ that come from ‘nowhere’…hard to go through, hard to understand, and I am still trying to do so, one of the reasons I joined this community. The experience though did leave me with the very strong intuitive feeling that everything,…[Read more]

And then if you listen to the Quinn interview on the radio program, listed above, you realize the possibility that this quarantine became AI controlled with everyone watching the internet and responding to fear and suggestion. I refuse a new normal, thank you.

There is something so powerful about that.
Somebody on Gab was actually trying to get me to be afraid and I just kept repeating “No, I refuse”. It wasn’t that I was trying to make a point or anything, it was just anything the person said, I just had the perfect response with “No, I refuse”. I apologize if this RFK Jr. interview has already been mentioned. I’m traveling, and haven’t kept up on my daily dose of Giza Community posts. Holy cow is he throwing haymakers!

I am planning to donate to his organization. I hope everyone else can throw whatever they can to help him in his quest to save us. I honestly can’t think of anyone who has been subjected to more Deep State attacks than him and he fights for all of us, including us who think global warming is a bunch of who-ha fake hockey stick MORE unscientific blather.

Actually, I said it incorrectly. He is a devout environmentalist and while I do agree with many of his causes he is a climate change advocate as well, which is something I don’t accept in the same way. It is changed by man but through aerosol nanotechnology and EMF manipulation; iow, done on purpose, not through accident or pollution. The…[Read more]
