Activity

Today is the Sunday of st. Lazarus. The Orthodox Church commemorates Christ coming to Bethany to bring his dear friend st. Lazarus who had been dead for four days back to life is commemorated every year on the Saturday before Psalm Sunday. An account of this event is recorded in John 11:1-45. The hymn “Rejoice O Bethany” is used by Orthodox Churches on Lazarus Saturday. Here is a link to the hymn.
