There is something about the scrapping of Arecibo that is raising a red flag. I know they have had some really bad hurricane damage in recent years possibly due to geoengineering wars. Wonder if scrapping the Arecibo space over site and ionosphere responsibility committee was part of an insurance policy for the island. I just can’t imagine astronomers like Neil Degrass Tyson taking this news very well. I hope the pissed off astronomers start a go fund me page and make it a public space force project before its demolished. Any thoughts?

No worries over the loss of 1 observatory, the Vatican’s binocular observatory near Tucson, Arizona [if memory serves], and formerly nicknamed ‘LUCIFER’, re-named ‘LUCI’, is still focused on what is coming, and it is still operational.
Looking for its namesake and benefactor no doubt.
Probably a facility that wouldn’t assist humanity given its name and ownership at this point.
As you say it looks like there is something afoot regarding the island itself; and then there is its location near the Bermuda anomalies….
Several years ago I ran into Neil while vacationing at Disney World. He seemed like a honest and sincere fellow who was extremely passionate about space.
