I’ve been working on my family tree over the last couple of years and as I look for long lost ancestors, I often google-map the places where they might have lived.

There are times that those places seem so familiar to me that I stop the research and I spend hours daydreaming and google-walking the town or places known to that person (and quite intensely I might add). I thought it might just be a fanciful habit, until I recently realised that I don’t always do it. It seems that it occurs when I’m researching two people in my tree who lived centuries apart. I initially thought that I had simply been swept up by the fascinating research and discoveries. Then, I started to think that perhaps there might be a ghost or presence about me, watching on. But more recently, in the last few months, the ‘feelings’ have been so clear and powerful that I’m now wondering if it’s more than the fascinating research, or ghosts hanging around, but an actual memory of having experienced *their* life in some way. I also considerered the possibility that perhaps it might attributable to some type of celluar memory or DNA memory, and logically, I would be happy to accept it. Emotionally though, it would seem like a denial of a *gut feeling*. This is why it’s very confusing.

I thought I would post the question here, in the event other people have experienced a similar familiarity with certain people or places in the past, or might know of a definitive answer if reincarnation could actually be possible.

I really like your answer. It seems more ‘natural’ so to speak. And I can even consider the possibility of * remembering*the future 😁 Thank you.

I get this. I wonder if energy is therefore conscious.

Turning a religion into an administration to govern an Empire means that God has been taken out of the equation. Priests have always been charlatans. When the instructions turned from “God says.. go over there and do something.. to..’I think what God meant to say was.. go over there and do something’, you have a problem.. Especially when you’re jihading anyone and everything that says the Administration isnt necessary (ie Cathars) is heresy…

My Cathrolic upbrining was not as strict as yours, so I wasn’t afraid of anything, but I wish I had been. I ended up practising witchcraft throughout most of my adult life. Things got very bad in my personal life. I decided to stop after my mother said that I had brought demons into my life. I went back to the Church and our local priest gave me a very stern warning coupled with a long blessing in Latin. I took it very seriously and ever since I have been on the straight path but not entirely happy with Roman Catholicism – so completely different from when I was a girl. The thought of reincarnation is always tantalising and addictive and when I think about it, I can’t see anything wrong with it at all. I also think that if it happens, we *should* be able to remember. However, if we do remember our past lives, could we actually handle all that knowledge? One might think about having lived one life, but what if we have lived multiple lives, wouldn’t that be a dreadful proposition – to remember everythng. Maybe that’s the reason we are not supposed to remember. Or, maybe by remembering, one continues the entanglement. Maybe that’s Christ’s message of resurrection and not Judaic reincarnation . Oh the questions!

So.. a clonage and artificial insemination and cannibalism and blood drinking are holy sacrement? Religion administrated through the church = mind control. Abuses of power. The power gained in the physical world meant that the power struggles inside the church have always been bloody massacres made by psychotic egotistical vanity filled men, whom in our day and age, abuse children systemtically. How can you ask for spiritual guidance from men so utterly devoid of spirituality?
