      Yeah why is it that supermarkets and retail stores still cling on to this old old idea that having the price one cent below the even dollar makes the item cheaper, how dumb do they think we are ??

        It works, that’s why! But I don’t fault Dr. Farrell, because it’s humorous….and I still became a member regardless. Look whoaman, I’m all grown up now.

            Well we now have “Dollar General” stores, not “Ninety Nine Cent General” stores….marketing has traditions too.
