May favorite history of the Eastern Front remains Paul Carrell’s Hitler Moves East, and Scorched Earth. They’re a bit dated now but they’re still very good and very detailed.

Bagration was brilliantly conceived and completely side-stepped what Hitler THOUGHT the Soviets would do. And it broke the back of Army Group Center.

I’ve reviewed a couple of books re WW2 in the past year. Neither does justice to the Soviet efforts. Can you recommend one?

Sad news, folks. I was informed by member Ramura that one of our own Gizars, “Radiohead”, Roderick Moore, died last night at 8:45 PM due tom complications from kidney failure. You may remember Rod from the Bastrop Secret Space Program conference.

Agreed. I saw the massive tornado storm predictions and worry for everyone who has been through so much already. These are definitely not normal weather patterns. Best for you and Shiloh (and Bruno) to be safe and secure and prayers for all in the path of the storms.

It’s not around (understandable given the hour) and with recent updates on YouTube’s creator studio I’m at a complete loss. But it DOES seem that every time I try to do something in the last few weeks, something pops loose and I cannot get it fixed.

The past 2 wks I was having a lot of trouble with operating system and Firefox . . . I did have some malware, you might want to check for that.

I’ve never seen it pour like this.
“They” have you in a vortex spinning around the state. Looks like we will get more, too down here. Dark enough to keep my solar gates from opening… and storms are expected to come out of nowhere like they did last Sunday with twisting winds, hail and lightning/thunder. I like water in the ponds but… really?
Do you observe the night sky before they hit?
I was on my way home just before 10pm & as usual, I saw sequential lighting of the sky from cell towers. You can count the frequency between the flashes of multiple towers.
I see it is slamming you all now. They are coming out of nowhere and there is a whole new “wind” coming out of Mexico to push these storms into us. An Austin station is predicting them at this point…
Ideal “English” summer!
