Bach’s last (and most famous) organ student, Johann Ludwig Krebs’ Toccata in A Minor… same material as the JS Bach F Major toccata, and totally different Affekt: (just the first four minutes and forty-six seconds)… Krebs was the last great Baroque master (no wonder too, he had the best teacher)…[Read more]

Velasquez is a truly stunning and astonishingly brilliant artist. And don’t forget Dominico Scarlatti spent a great deal of time in Spain, and Padre Antonio Soler… some beautiful Spanish Baroque compositions.

I saw this myself on YouTube, and other videos of people playing music for elephants, including a stunning video on a green piano where the elephant mimicked the rhythm of the piece (Scott Joplin’s “The Entertainer”) EXACTLY…. amazing creatures, and so sad poachers are wiping them out…

That bottomlessness was the largest problem in writing it… how does one summarize a topic which is limitless and do so in a relatively comprehensive manner? It’s really, in the final analysis, impossible.

Many times Joseph free thinkers know much more than they feel it is safe to say in a official
book or video or sound recording . I guess its called off the record in journalist language.
Have you encountered book Publishers that will not allow you to say things in your books.

I tend to agree Ronin. ANYTHING of a metaphysically-based approach in our culture is being taken away from people, while the powers that be seem to pen it in for themselves.
