A little Haydn to bring in the new year. This is one of my favorite concertos of his. it doesn’t get played very often, and even when it does, the tempos tend to drag. But this older performance by Ilse von Alpenheim takes it just right, and particularly in the third movement, a fun little minuet, with plenty of Haydn’s whimsy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1j1VducI8cY
